അഞ്ജു പോകട്ടെ ആകാശം ഇടിയില്ല

                                           ഒളിമ്പിക്സില്‍ മെഡല്‍ നേടുന്നവരാണ് എല്ലാ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേയും ഒളിമ്പ്യന്മാര്‍. ഇന്‍ഡ്യയില്‍ ആകട്ടെ ഒളിമ്പിക്സിനു പോകാന്‍ ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുത്തവരെല്ലാം ഒളിമ്പ്യന്മാര്‍ ആണ്. ഒളിമ്പിക്സില്‍ 
ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മെഡല്‍ നില നോക്കുന്നത് എന്നും സ്കോര്‍ ബോര്‍ഡിന്റെ താഴെ നിന്നും മേല്പ്പോട്ടാണ്. ജനസംഖ്യ യില്‍ ലോകത്തെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ രാജ്യം. 5000 വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുന്പ് ജനടിക്ക് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗും, പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് സര്‍ജരിയും, വിമാനവും കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചെന്ന്  നരേന്ദ്ര ദാമോദര്‍ മോദി അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന നാടിന് ഒട്ടും അഭിമാനകരമല്ല ഇത്. മുപ്പത് വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മുന്പ് ചൈനയുടെ അവസ്ഥയും ഇതു തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു.ഇന്നു കഥയാകെ മാറി.ഇന്നവര്‍ മത്സരിക്കുന്നത് ഒന്നാംസ്ഥാനത്തിനായാണ്.മാവോയുടെ ഒരു തീരുമാനം ആയിരുന്നു ഈ നേട്ടത്തിനു കാരരണം. നില മെച്ചപ്പെടുന്നതൂ വരെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍  താരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിലക്കേര്‍പ്പെടുത്തി. ഗ്രാമങ്ങള്‍ തോറും കളിക്കളങ്ങള്‍ പണിതു. കഴിവുള്ള കുട്ടികളെ കണ്ടെത്തി പരിശിലിപ്പിച്ചു. നില മെച്ചപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഒളിമ്പിക്സിനു താരങ്ങളെ അയച്ചു തുടങ്ങി  
                                       ഇന്ത്യയില്‍   രാശ്ട്രീയം പോലെ സ്പോര്‍ട്സും ഒരു ധനാഗമ മാര്‍ഗമാണ്. സ്പോര്‍ട്ട്സ് അസോസിയേഷനുകളുടെ തലപ്പെത്തെത്താന്‍ രാശ്ട്രീയക്കാര് മലസരിക്കുന്നു.
ശരത് പവാറും,അരുണ്‍ ജയ്റ്റ്ലിയും,അനുരാഗ് താക്കൂറും,രാജ്നാഥ് സിങ്ങും പ്രഫുല്‍ പാട്ടേലും  പോലെയുള്ള രാശ്ട്രീയക്കാര് ആണ് എല്ലാ സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് അസോസിയേഷനുകളും നയിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിന്‍റെ സുഖം അറിയണമെങ്കില്‍ കേരള ക്രിക്കറ്റ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍റെ സെക്രട്ടറി ടി സി മാത്യുവിനോട് ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ മതി. താരങ്ങളുടെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ പോലും ശുപാര്‍ശയും,സമ്മര്‍ദങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാവും. 
                                        കളിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കുന്ന അമിത പ്രാധാന്യം ലജ്ജാവഹമാണ്.ഒരു ക്രിക്കറ്റര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കി ഭാരത്‌ രത്നം പോലും അപഹാസ്യമാക്കി." ജീവിത യാത്രയില്‍ കാലില്‍ പുരണ്ട പൊടിയുടെ അളവ് നോക്കി വേണം ഒരാളുടെ മഹത്വം നിര്‍ണയിക്കാന്‍" എന്നു മഹാത്മാഗാന്ധി പറഞ്ഞു.
                                       അനുഗ്രഹീത നടന്‍ ഇര്‍ഫാന്‍ ഖാന്‍റെ വാക്കുകള്‍ ശ്രധ്ധിക്കുക "I don't have anything against actors and cricketers.They are great entertainers.But they are not heroes.
We haven't redefined heroes.Heroes are those who sacrifice their own concerns and do something bigger.Film stars and cricketers shouldn't be aspirational
in such a big way.It is a asign of consumerism at its extreme".

നിര്‍വ്യാജം ലജ്ജിപ്പോന്‍

                ജൂണ്‍ 2, വ്യാഴാഴ്ച കേരള നിയമ സഭയിലെ 138 എം എല്‍ എ മാരും സഗൌരവ്മോ, ദൈവ നാമത്തിലോ, ഒരു മുഠ)ളന്‍ ഇതു രണ്ടും ചേര്‍ത്തും സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് അധികാരം ഏറ്റു. ഈ 139 പേരില്‍ ഉച്ചാരണത്തികവോടെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ എടുത്തവര്‍ രണ്ടു പേര്‍ മാത്രം.- പ്രഫ. രവീന്ദ്രനാഥഉം, വിണ ജോര്‍ജും.വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ് മന്ത്രിയെ കൂടാതെ അധ്യാപകര്‍ വേറെയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു സഭയില്‍.ഡോക്ടരേറ്റ് ഉള്ളവര്‍ വരെ.ദൃശ്യ മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലെ വാക്ഭടന്മാര്‍,പ്രത്യേകിച് സ്ത്രീകള്‍.വികലോച്ചാ രണത്തിനു പുകള്‍ പെറ്റവരും,അക്ഷരങ്ങള്‍ തിട്ടമില്ലാത്തവരും ആണെങ്കിലും,വിണ ജോര്‍ജ് വ്യത്യസ്ത ആണ്. 
                  പല തൊഴിലുകള്‍ക്കും അടിസ്ഥാന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടൂണ്ടെങ്കിലും കലാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിനും, ജനാധിപത്യ ത്തില്‍ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിനും അടിസ്ഥാന യോഗ്യത നിഷ്കര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഡോ.എം എസ സുബ്ബലക്ഷ്മി രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസില്‍ പ൦നം നിര്‍ത്തി,എം ജി ആര്‍ എട്ടാം ക്ലാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല, കമല ഹാസന്‍ 9 വരെ മാത്രം പഠിച്ചു.ജയലളിതയുടെ പഠനം പത്തില്‍ അവസാനിച്ചു.കരുണാനിധി പതിനൊന്നു വരയെ പഠിച്ചിട്ടൊള്ളു മോദിയുടെ ബിരുദത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് തര്‍ക്കം 
ഉയര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ മോദിയുടെ ആരാധകര്‍ ഈ വാദം ഉയര്‍ത്തി കാട്ടിയിരുന്നു. ഒരു പ്രധാന മന്ത്രിയുടെ ബിരുദം വ്യാജമാണെന്ന സംശയം ഉയര്‍ത്തിയ ധാര്‍മികത 
ആയിരുന്നു അവിടെ പ്രശ്നം.
                    പ്രസംഗവും, പ്രസ്താവനകളും,പ്രസ് കൊണ്ഫരണ്സുകളും ശിലമാക്കിയ രാശ്ട്രീക്കാരന്ടെ പണിക്കോപ്പ് വാക്കുകള്‍ ആയിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവയുടെ അക്ഷരങ്ങളും,അര്ഥങ്ങളും,ഉച്ചാരണവും അറിയാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നതിന് തെളിവാണ് ജൂണ്‍ രണ്ടിന് നിയമസഭയില്‍ കേട്ട "നിര്‍വാ ജ്യം' ഇവിടെ എല്ലാ പാര്‍ട്ടികളും ഒരു പോലെയാണ്. 
                  ജിഷയുടെ കൊലപാതകം രാജ്യ സഭയില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ അംഗങ്ങളെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ പ്രഫ.പിജെ കുര്യന്‍ പല തവണ പറയുന്നത് കേട്ടു "ഇറ്റ്‌ വാസ് എ ഹീനീയസ് ക്രൈം " 
                    ആര്‍ഷസംസ്കാരത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ഊറ്റം കൊള്ളുന്ന ഒരു മാനേജ്മെന്റിന് എറണാകുളത്ത് നിരവധി സ്കൂളുകള്‍ ഉണ്ട്. സംസ്കൃത പഠനത്തിന് അമിത പ്രാഥാന്യം നല്കുന്ന സ്കൂളിലെ കുട്ടികളോടോ,അധ്യാപകരോടോ സ്കൂളിന്‍റെ പേര് ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ അവര്‍ പറയും 'ബവന്‍സ് അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ബാവന്‍സ്‌".
പ്രതിജ്ഞ എടുത്തവരില്‍ അധികവും,സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്കൂളുകളിലും,എയിഡഡ സ്കൂളിലും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമുള്ള അധ്യാപകര്‍ പഠിപ്പിച്ച്ചവര്‍ ആയിരുന്നു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ കച്ചവടക്കാര്‍ നടത്തുന്ന സി ബി എസ് ഇ സ്കൂളുകളിലെ അക്ഷരാഭ്യാസമില്ലാത്ത അധ്യാപകര്‍ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ബ്രോയിലര്‍ സന്തതികള്‍ സഭയില്‍ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ എന്താകും അവസ്ഥ.

Politics,a lucrative trade in India.

                 Politics is the most lucrative business in India next to crony capitalism .Jathin Mehtha, kin of Gautham Adani, bosom chum of Narendra Modi left India without repaying Rs.6800 crore borrowed from 14 Banks.He and his family settled in a Karibian Island as its citizen. Vijay Mallaya who left the country without repaying Rs.9000 crore to banks was last elected to Rajya Sabha by BJP and Janatha Dal.
                The income of BJP during 2014-15,according to the report submitted to the Election Commission is Rs.970 crore.This is the accounted portion, leave alone the darker side.The picture of Bengaru Lakshman, then BJP president taking bundles of currency for thé advent of ache din is still vivid in our memory.Election time is the harvest season of all the political prties.Every party make a killing then,ruling prties are the darling of the donors.A major chunk of the collection gets into the hands of the leaders.Those who clamour for tickets (some are shedding their clothes) in elections are not lured by the urge to serve the humanity,they have their eyes on this booty.
Recently we saw money is being demanded and offered for Rajya Sabha seats from Karnataka.The Rajya Sabha seats of the business men like Vijay Mallaya and ..Rajiv Chandrashekaran are all payment seats.
                 According to Reghuram Rajan,RBI found liquidity of Rs.60000 crore in the southern states, during the recent assembly elections.Surveys by various agencies revealed that Rs.9000 crore reaches the electorate in Tamil Nadu as kind and cash during every election. Rs.570 crore found in three trucks on 13th May at Tirupur is still shrouded in mystery.The missives purportedly issued by SBI and RBI are bogus.As usual an inquiry is being ordered .The public will soon forget it as their memory is alarmingly short. .
