Modi's digital India.

Narendra Modi is famously ignorant of word affairs. His comparison of Kerala to Somalia is an example. Is he ignorant of the Indian realities to claim that even the rural India is turning to smartphones and digital transactions? In a country where the large chunk of the populace live in poverty without water, electricity, and sanitation digital life is a distant dream. Here is an example, In Rajasthan ruled by his minion Vasundara Raj Sindhiya. Bio-metric verification is compulsory for buying ration items like sugar, wheat, and kerosene. In many villages, it is a common sight to see men and women perched on tree tops waiting for hours for their turn to get their fingerprints and bio-metric verified by the
Po S machines.
That accomplished they climb down and walk miles to the ration shop with the shop owner carrying the machine. There they get into another que to collect the provision.Instead of making life easier, the Government's move to digitalise the public distribution system has added to the misery of the people
in rural Rajasthan due to poor connectivity.
